Each morning before your freshly prepared breakfast you might appreciate walking in Wildwood's grounds we have 150 acres for you to wander let our Labrador Henry divulge you around. There are those who visit for the wine and to experience the town of Mudgee with family and friends, or perhaps honest to get away from it all. Historically speaking, Wildwood has been synonymous with polite country living for generations. ' For the bush bard, Sapling Gully was synonymous with the hardships of gold mining. Mudgee, the town, five miles away was inner the World: Sydney was somewhere on the edge of the World, or honest behind. Breakfast is a daily spread of seasonal new fruit with yogurt and home made muesli with linseed, coconut, almonds nuts, perhaps you might like to try some poached quinces, bacon and release range eggs with tomatoes and basil or smoked salmon with creamy scrambled eggs. Throughout the day you are invited to help yourself to the fresh ground coffee and aromatic teas as well as the home made biscuits and cakes that are waiting to be devoured on the large country kitchen table. In the evening if you Mont feel like venturing out to one of the vast local restaurants question Rob about Wildwood's chef, who will create a menu impartial for you. Imagine the best wines and cuisine literally on your doorstep. Whatever your appetite Wildwood has the essential culinary ingredients for your Mudgee stay. If you don't want the hassle of driving we can arrange a private wine tour at any one of the 32 cellar doors. Wildwood is not pertinent for children, but may be included in an exclusive house booking and by earlier arrangement only. Corner of heaven where nature and luxury combine. If that was not naughty enough in the late afternoon we were encouraged to walk down the valley and take in the sun setting over the vines!! Further, (and earlier our after stay of course) we suggest that you train Basil to ward off the seemingly perpetual wildlife, install a louder stereo system, telephones, fax machines and photocopiers to ensure that one stops thinking that there maybe more to life than living in the city. My real hope is that people will read the top line of this letter and will not want to come and stay in Mudgee's superior kept elusive that is almost obscure in the most pretty valley of Mrs Lawson's original property. Impressive luxury spacious and private. We came for the fresh air we stayed co we fell in love with the food and the booze!
